Teaching and Research, two activities that when performed properly, consolidate a Hospital's prestige. These activities require the collaboration of every professional in order to achieve their objectives.

The Hospital authorities establish these objectives and the Teaching and Research Department (DDI) takes appropriate actions to reach them. 

The DDI has the responsibility to reconcile the directives of the authorities with the interests of the professionals. The DDI and all its members put themselves at the service of those interested in developing teaching and research to promote and coordinate these activities.
