The Urology Service has offices for ambulatory patients, an urodynamics and neurourology laboratory, plus two operating rooms, where endoscopy procedures, extracorporeal lithotrities by impact waves and ambulatory or minimally invasive surgeries are performed. There is a 24-hour urology service for emergencies and consultations.
The Service has offices for the different urology areas: Urooncology, Urodynamics and Neurourology, Infertility and Andrology, Lithiasis and Uro Pediatrics. Cutting-edge technology, such as the last generation lithotripter, is used.
Several types of surgeries are performed: open, laparoscopic, percutaneous and endoscopic.
Brachitherapy has been included recently to treat prostate cancer.
