The Neurology Service cares for individuals who suffer from tremors, vertigo, multiple sclerosis and stroke, among other diseases. Outpatient offices meet the needs of ambulatory patients. Sleep Pathology studies, Polysomnography and EEG-video for epileptic pathology, Dystonic Pathology Treatment with botulinus toxin and specific treatments for multiple sclerosis are performed within the outpatient area. The Service organizes activities for the community, especially support meetings for epilepsy patients at the Integral Epilepsy Centre [Centro Integral de Epilepsia – CIE]. These meetings are aimed at offering basic information on this pathology in a clear and simple language. For hospitalized patients the Service has professionals on call or working in shifts at the premises according to the pathology requirements.
