The Hemotherapy Service motto is "blood belongs to those who need it; no matter where they are hospitalized". The Service thus participates in a wide unrestricted blood exchange with other hospitals in Buenos Aires, both private and public. A full range of services within the specialty is offered, among them: blood donation, German Hospital Blood Insurance and autologous donation. The Service aims at keeping a "live blood bank" with blood from healthy individuals.

The Blood Bank has a Hemostasia sector working 24 hours a day, to allow quick solution to problems related with coagulation alterations, especially those needing transfusion medicine to be corrected.

Our Blood Insurance Policy benefits associates by ensuring their right to receive blood when needed without having to replace it, even if hospitalized at any other health centre.
