The Pediatrics Surgery Service covers all the spectrum of the specialty for thoracic, abdominal and cervical pathologies. The team of professionals has been certified by the Argentine Association for Child Surgery [Asociación Argentina de Cirugía Infantil]. The practices on adolescents, children and newborns include minimally invasive surgeries, such as video laparoscopies and thoracoscopies. One stage video laparoscopies are performed on newborns affected by Hirschsprung’s disease (congenital megacolon) or by thoracic tumors.

The Pediatric Surgery Service offers several specialized programs: Constipation, Recurrent and Chronic Abdominal Pain, Prenatal Diagnosis, Pediatric Urology, Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery and Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery.
