The German Hospital offers 24-hour cardiology assistance of low, medium and high complexity, which places it as an institution for referral. Thus, conditions associated to cardiac pathologies may be diagnosed and solved immediately, without transfers or expensive derivations to other centers.
The areas include: Outpatient offices – previous appointment is necessary, free choice of doctor – Cardiology Emergency Room, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Unit, Cardiovascular Recovery and Post-Transplant Care Area.
Nurse care is provided in compliance with Public Health standards. Caring for Acute Cardiovascular Syndromes and the treatment of the hyperacute phase of myocardial infarction with primary angioplasty or thrombolytic therapy are some of the differential advantages of our 24-hour service.
The area has an ambulatory arterial pressure monitoring equipment, a room for invasive therapeutic procedures and emergency minisurgery. It also runs the Preventive Cardiology and Cardiovascular Risk Factors Control for coronary disease patients.
