MELANOMA AND OTHER CUTANEOUS TUMORS TREATMENT UNIT
This multidisciplinary unit works on the prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of the cutaneous melanoma, the basocellular skin carcinoma and the epidermoid skin carcinoma.
Specialists from different related disciplines work together: Dermatology Service, Oncology Surgery Sector from the General Surgery Service, Reconstructive Surgery, Oncology Clinic and Radiotherapy Service.
Both early and late stages of the disease are treated, using modern diagnostic methods and advanced therapeutic strategies.
HEAD AND NECK TUMOR TREATMENT UNIT.
The multidisciplinary approach (Head and Neck Sector, General Surgery Service, Oncology Clinic, Radiotherapy Service, Dentistry, Endocrinology and Ophthalmology Services) offers modern strategies to diagnose larynx, pharynx, thyroid, oral cavity, salivary glands and breast cancer as well as skin tumors.
The Palliative Care Service treats patients with terminal diseases.
